It has to be said that nowadays consumers have become quite particular, expecting not only a car that drives smoothly but also one that feels like home when you're inside. This is why many vehicles are now focusing on features like "refrigerators, color TVs, and big sofas." But is it really possible to "live" in a car? I recently took on the challenge of staying in a car for 24 hours without getting out, with my feet not touching the ground the entire time. Was it possible? I relied on a smart electric SUV with the magic of a "transformable space"—the Venucia VX6.
The event started at 9 am, and in fact, my assistant, Cancan, had already slept in the car overnight. I was about to wake her up to begin the day's challenge. She had already experienced the "big bed" inside the car. After folding down the front and rear seats and laying a mattress, it truly formed a completely flat layout, with no protruding parts that would be uncomfortable. Cancan said she had no problem rolling around inside the car.

We've seen cars with flat-folding rear seats before, such as the Fit, which we often praised for its flexible space and magic seat function. The Venucia VX6 has a similar feature in its rear seats, where the backrest and cushion can联动下沉, and when connected to the trunk, it greatly expands the space. The front seats can also be laid flat at 180 degrees, with both the driver and passenger seats being able to be electronically laid flat and lowered, and they also have an anti-pinch function. With one touch, they instantly transform into a "2.5m transformable bed car," turning the seats into a bed and diversifying the travel scenarios, offering a different kind of joy. The pure flat 2.5m interior bed ensures a king-size bed wherever you go. It has to be said that the magic cube seats and transformable interior space are the most prominent product advantages of this car, making it quite suitable for friends who enjoy outdoor activities.
Cancan experienced its riding comfort, but as a car industry media person, I still have a professional habit of wanting to check the car's chassis and power when I see one. So we conducted some routine driving tests on it.
We chose a test site to perform tests such as speed bump bumps, quick slalom, and blind reverse parking to check the car's performance and comfort.
However, since we had a beautiful companion, we didn't use the usual trick of a cup of water spilling over bumps. Instead, we challenged ourselves to apply makeup inside the car. As we went over speed bumps at different speeds, we let Cancan draw eyeliner to see if she could do it quickly and well.Starting at a speed of 20km/h, it was unclear whether it was due to an adaptation issue or the vibration at this speed being unsuitable for delicate movements, as the initial drawings were smudged. However, as the speed increased to 30km/h and 40km/h, the process went quite smoothly. It turns out that the faster the speed, the more of a "flying" sensation is experienced, with shorter periods of horizontal takeoff and landing, resulting in a more "stable" feeling. The overall chassis experience remains quite composed, relying on the rear five-link independent suspension of the Venucia VX6, which has an innate advantage over the torsion beam suspension of its class, better balancing control and comfort.
This vehicle is designed to maximize its suitability for home use, featuring a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout, with a maximum output of 160kW and a peak torque of 275Nm, achieving 0-100km/h in 8 seconds, and a top speed of 165km/h. These specifications are not particularly powerful in the realm of electric vehicles, but due to the characteristics of electric cars, they do not make one feel inadequate at all, already meeting 95% of the power usage needs.
To be honest, with Venucia backed by the large factory of Nissan, there is essentially no fault to be found in terms of driving control, especially since many new energy brand electric cars have a very aggressive start, but Nissan has tuned it to feel more like a gasoline car. Equipped with the VCM comprehensive precision vehicle control system, along with a variety of driving modes, it provides a slight buffer time at startup, ensuring that neither long-term driving nor riding will cause motion sickness, which is quite rare.
The Venucia VX6 uses lithium iron phosphate batteries, employing Venucia's Luban battery system safety technology—NTP (No Thermal Propagation) technology and comprehensive safety structure, to fully ensure battery safety. The 62-degree battery pack can achieve a CLTC pure electric range of 520km. Only electric vehicles can turn the "24-hour challenge without leaving the vehicle" into reality; otherwise, with a gasoline car idling all night, it would not only consume a lot of fuel and be noisy but also produce a lot of exhaust gases.
Moreover, electric vehicles have another advantage, which is the vehicle's external power output. We challenged ourselves at noon to cook using external power output. The chef guest stir-fried dishes like diced pork and mapo tofu, and all the electricity came from a Venucia VX6. Its 3.3kW external power output easily handled the more than 2000-watt induction cooker, and the trunk space is quite large, with a volume of 490L even without folding down the rear seats under normal conditions. It also provides a plastic cover, and through modification, this area has become a small kitchen platform for the chef to place soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and oil.The issue of cooking is resolved, and the space for dining is also easily manageable, because the Venucia VX6 can not only serve as a "king-size bed" but also be transformed into a small restaurant. The front seats can be folded down, creating a face-to-face seating arrangement with the rear seats, and with a dining table placed in the middle, it becomes a fully functional dining space. It was here that I enjoyed a delicious lunch with Cancan and the chef, without having to step out of the vehicle.
After the meal, we noticed that the battery level had dropped to just over 30%, so we went in search of a State Grid charging station. With the charging port connected, the fastest charging rate of 100kW is quite impressive. While waiting for the charge, I activated the napping mode inside the car. The passenger seat was reclined, and I sat in the back seat with my legs resting on the front seats, which was incredibly comfortable. In fact, comfort doesn't always require a flat bed; sometimes, a good rest leaning back can be more refreshing.
During the charging break, the chief engineer of Venucia also came to our challenge site to explain some of the small design details and research behind the layout of this vehicle. The car's length of 4658mm and wheelbase of 2850mm are closer to the golden ratio. By making the front overhang very short, more space is allocated to the passenger cabin. The rear knee room is as spacious as 780mm, approaching the level of a Mercedes-Benz E-Class.The front row also offers many scene-specific applications. For instance, the center console is wide and spacious, making it very convenient to store ladies' handbags and high heels. Moreover, it is detachable, and you can even modify it to include a refrigerator. This type of continuous design is also more convenient for the driver to exit through the passenger side in extreme situations, which is a great blessing for many narrow parking spaces that are close to walls. In summary, the engineers at Venucia have put in a lot of effort to create a versatile space for the Venucia VX6, and for just over 100,000, they have crafted a comfortable mobile home.
In the afternoon of the same day, we also invited actors and magician friends from the "Beipiao" community to chat and relax in the car, experiencing the living conditions of this living room space. It's a bit of a pity that we didn't use the external power output to boil water and make tea, or else this Venucia VX6 could even compete with the business of teahouses and coffee shops.
As night fell, we invited a yoga teacher to join us, and we learned Pilates inside the car. In the end, I was also "dragged into the water," and even my old arms and legs did a few stretching exercises. Two women and one man doing yoga in the car was not crowded at all. This spatial capability is not only suitable for SUVs but would also be hard to achieve even in a wider and larger MPV.
After doing yoga at around 8 p.m., I was tired from the day and prepared to rest in the car, sleeping for 12 hours to catch up on sleep. Looking back on the day, I didn't get out of the car the whole time, but all the activities were not much different from my usual routine. The Venucia VX6 can fully meet my needs, providing space, energy replenishment, entertainment, socializing, and other essential needs.Spending 24 hours inside a vehicle, the most critical factor is that the space must be large and flexible enough. The Nissan sofa is very soft, and I don't get tired from sitting on it. The rear seats have up to seven adjustable angles, making it comfortable for 24 hours. Then, after being designed by Venucia's engineers, the space can be transformed into a dining area, a living room, or even a bedroom. I haven't even shown you the 2.1 square meter panoramic sunroof and the 64-color ambient lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere at night.
Venucia's choice of this track meets a significant demand for many people. Modern individuals face high work pressure and desire to occasionally escape the daily routine to experience alternative outdoor activities. The Venucia VX6 combines its electric vehicle's environmental advantages of being emission-free, energy-efficient, and quiet, along with its smart, versatile space design concept, to create an impressive product. This vehicle is not only a great choice for ride-hailing services but can also serve as a hotel alternative.
Lastly, let's talk about which version is the most suitable among the several options priced between 141,900 and 159,900 yuan. Their power and endurance are consistent, with the main differences lying in the configurations. The version at 149,900 yuan is 8,000 yuan more expensive than the base model but comes with an L2-level driver assistance system, electric adjustment and memory functions for the driver and passenger seats, hidden door handles, and more, making it the most cost-effective option. If you purchase this version, you can also take on the 24-hour challenge of not stepping out of the vehicle.
